KS Hydropower (U) Ltd engaged TES as electrical sub-contractor to construct a 33kV power line at the Masanafu Roundabout in Kampala. On completion, KS Hydropower issued a Certificate of Work Completion and Acceptance dated 26 November 2025.
The job is one of three near-identical 33kV connections TES delivered for KS Hydropower at Kampala roundabouts — Masanafu, Naalya and Kisasi — built to the same utility standard.
TES constructed a 33kV powerline T-off and strung conductor across six spans of 70 metres each — the longest run of the three roundabout connections — bringing medium-voltage supply to the site.
A 50kVA 33kV/433V distribution transformer was installed and connected with 35mm² four-core cable on the low-voltage side, with pole-mounted switchgear and surge protection set to the utility standard.
A time-of-use meter was fitted so supply is recorded against the correct tariff from day one.
The line was built, connected and accepted to standard, and KS Hydropower granted work acceptance on 26 November 2025.
