Overview

TES was subcontracted by KS Hydropower (U) Ltd to construct a 33kV power line at the Kisasi Roundabout in Kampala. KS Hydropower certified the works completed and accepted, dated 10 December 2025.

Kisasi completes the set of three roundabout connections TES built for KS Hydropower, after Masanafu and Naalya.

Scope of works

The works covered a 33kV powerline T-off with a single 50-metre conductor span, a 50kVA 33kV/433V distribution transformer, 35mm² four-core cable and a time-of-use meter — a focused connection delivered end to end.

Installing the pole-top switchgear and tensioning the conductor.

Completion & acceptance

The connection was built, energised and accepted to standard, with KS Hydropower granting work acceptance on 10 December 2025.

“Transients Engineering Services carried out the scope of electrical works subcontracted to it; the works were successfully completed to standard and work acceptance was granted.”
